Flesh and Blood Nationals gathered the country’s top players in an intense battle of skill and deck building strategy, featuring the Classic Constructed format. Sabah has six representatives, who fought through multiple rounds against some of Malaysia’s strongest players.

While none of our Sabahan players was able to secure top 8 seatings, the experience gain from this event will surely boost the level of Flesh and Blood back home.

This marked the first-ever National Championship appearance for Sabah’s Flesh and Blood community—but it certainly won’t be the last.

We’re excited to see where this journey takes our players next. Sabah’s TCG community is only going to get stronger from here.

On the same weekend, 11 players from Sabah set sail for the One Piece Card Game Championship.

The event gathered players from all across Malaysia and internationally, with around 500 participants, all competing for a spot in the next stage of the One Piece Championship circuit. Among the Sabahans was Chong, who impressively competed in both the Flesh and Blood Nationals and the One Piece Championship, swapping around event venue almost forgetting to submit his decklist.

Although we didn’t manage to capture a full group photo for the One Piece participants, each of the players carried the Sabahan spirit proudly in their matches.

This marks another exciting step forward for the growing One Piece community in Sabah. We look forward to seeing what they’ll achieve in the upcoming tournaments.

We’ll be cheering our Sabahan players on their next adventure!
