For years, fans have asked for an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan, and Ubisoft has finally listened. Like Assassin's Creed Syndicate, this game will feature two playable protagonists, Yasuke and Naoe, in a dynamic world.
The setting revolving Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will explore the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, a time marked by relentless civil war. While the story details are still unclear, it will likely follow Yasuke and Naoe as they assist Oda Nobunaga in his quest to unify Japan.
Seasonal and somewhat destructible world
The open world changes through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, with each season bringing unique weather and terrain changes. This adds realism to the environment. Each season promises to significantly impacts gameplay.
Ubisoft has also confirmed that the game has a small destructible structure, you can go on a rampage with Yasuke breaking things or use Naoe to shoot shuriken through shoji doors.
The changing season and interactive world will for sure make a unique experience for all players.
