As Flesh and Blood in Malaysia continues to grow and reach new heights, the competition has become fiercer than ever. With only the best-qualified players earning their place on the national stage, Sabah will once again be represented by 6 elite competitors this year.

Being able to compete in National is no small feat. With the National Championship pool expanding to over 100 qualified players compared to last year's 80-player cap, these players have proven themselves among the strongest in the region. They have earned their spots to represent the state.

Meet Shu Shen Liang AKA locally as Shu.

A familiar face among the Sabahan Flesh and Blood community, Shu had spent countless hours playing alongside many of these players. He knew their habits, their playstyles, and their strategies better than most opponents ever could.

And perhaps ironically, the person standing in the way of Sabah's own dreams was one of their own.

Throughout the tournament, Shu found himself facing off against Sabahan players one after another becoming the unexpected "dream crasher" who ended the runs of half the Sabahan’s player.

While Sabah did not manage to secure a Top 8 finish this year, the journey itself showed how far the community has come.

Compared to last year's National Championship, this year’s performance was a huge step forward. With a larger and more competitive player pool of over 100 qualified competitors, Sabah’s representatives stood their ground against the best players in Malaysia and proved that the region continues to grow stronger.

Every match, every win, and every lesson gained from this National Championship adds to the experience of our players.

The Top 8 finish may not have arrived this time, but the goal remains clear.

The journey continues, and Sabah will be back.
